The BexarMet Drought Contingency Plan provides water use guidelines for the District and customers to follow during all times of the year. This Plan is essential to preserve water resources as part of normal daily activities, drought and water emergencies such as main breaks, boil water notices and equipment failures. The BexarMet Drought Plan is submitted to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for review and approval every five years.

For more information on the BexarMet Drought Contingency Plan, contact the Water Efficiency Department at 210-357-5705.
