Senior and/or Disabled Customer Discount Program

This program provides utility assistance of $2.00 a month for customers that are either a Senior Citizen and/or Disabled who meet the income level guidelines established at or below the 125% Federal poverty level.

Senior Citizen Penalty Exemption Program

This program offers residential customers aged sixty (60) years and older and/or residential customers who are disabled an exemption of the late payment penalty for water service charges.

Disability Penalty Exemption Program

BexarMet customers who receive monthly federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for disabilities qualify for an exemption of late payment penalties.

Leak Adjustment

BexarMet customers who have had a leak and had it repaired may qualify for a leak adjustment on their water bill.

Eligibility

  • Must be a BexarMet Water District residential customer
  • Leak must have been repaired at BexarMet service address
  • Leak must have affected the water bill
  • Water consumption must show a decrease after the repair date
