Senior and/or Disabled Customer Discount Program

This program provides utility assistance of $2.00 a month for customers that are either a Senior Citizen and/or Disabled who meet the income level guidelines established at or below the 125% Federal poverty level.  CLICK HERE FOR PROGRAM APPLICATION.

Senior Citizen Penalty Exemption Program

This program offers residential customers aged sixty (60) years and older and/or residential customers who are disabled an exemption of the late payment penalty for water service charges.

Eligibility:

• Must be age 60 or older
• Must be a BexarMet Water District Residential Customer

How to Enroll

Provide BexarMet Customer Service with a copy of one of the following:

• Texas Department of Public Safety ID
• Texas Driver's License

Disability Penalty Exemption Program

BexarMet customers who receive monthly feneral Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for disabilities qualify for an exemption of late payment penalties.

Eligibility:

• Must be disabled
• Must be a BexarMet Water District Residential Customer
• Must receive federal Supplementary Security Income (SSI) from Social Security Administration

How to Enroll:

Provide BexarMet Customer Service with a copy of the Social Security Administration Award Letter.

Leak Adjustment

BexarMet customers who had a leak and have it repaired may qualify for a leak adjustment.

Eligibility:

• Must be a BexarMet Water District Residential Customer
• Leak must have been repaired at  BexarMet service address
• Leak must have affected the water bill
• Water consumption must show a decrease after the repair date

How to Apply:

Provide BexarMet Customer Service with a copy of the repair receipt.
