Supporting Our Customers

(Note) Beginning Monday August 6, 2007 the BexarMet Call Center will be open from 8:00am to 7:00pm weekdays. For questions on your bill, to make a payment, begin or end service or general questions about your water service, please call BexarMet Customer Relations at (210) 922-1221. Requests made after 4:00pm to turn on water for new service or reconnection of service will be completed and executed on the following business day. If you have made previous arrangements for billing payments or adjustments, please disregard your water termination reminder notice.

BexarMet's dedication to delivering quality water to its customers has been recognized by the State of Texas. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (formerly TNRCC, now TCEQ) has certified BexarMet as a Superior Rated Water Utility, its highest ranking.

Currently, BexarMet has one customer relations branch located on 2706 W. Southcross (near the intersection of Southcross and Quintana Rd.) (Google Map). At the BexarMet Customer Service Center on Southcross, the customer relations team is prepared to receive payments, answer billing questions, prepare customized payment plans for delinquent accounts and to dispatch repair crews to trouble spots. Customers may walk in or drive through at their convenience. This location is open from 7am to 5pm Monday thru Friday.

Rates and Fees

BexarMet water rates are charged per 1,000 gallons and tiered to encourage conservation at higher levels of use. Our water rates are constant throughout the year and do not change based on expected peak irrigation demand over the summer period. In addition to commercial and residential rates for water, the BexarMet bill includes Capacity Reservation fees and System Improvement fees as well as collecting sewer fees, garbage fees, and regulatory assessments for other agencies.

NOTE:
On April 24, 2008, the BexarMet Board approved a 14% hike in residential and commercial water rates for 2008-09. The new rates take effect July 1, 2008 and they are listed below.
