Green for Green Rebate
- In urban areas, 40 to 60 percent of water used during the summer is for landscape and garden watering. Much of this water is used to maintain landscapes that demand large amounts of water, or the water is simply applied inefficiently.
- Customers can turn their landscape from water-loving to water-efficient and receive a rebate from $100 to $300.
- Water consumption between July and September before and after the landscape conversion are used to calculate the rebate.
Customers who choose to replace at least 20% of their turf with xeriscape plants and landscaping are eligible for this rebate.
