Lesley Wenger - Director - District 6

Lesley Wenger was raised in Mexico City and graduated from the American School Foundation. She received her B.A. from New York University and has been employed in the visual arts field as a gallery director, curator, magazine editor and writer. She is also a certified English-Spanish interpreter and translator.

Moving from California to San Antonio in 1996, Lesley began attending BexarMet Board meetings in 2000. In 2003 she became one of the founders and the Treasurer of the Committee to Reduce Water Rates.

Elected to the BexarMet Board in February 2005, she represents single-member District 6 - the largest district in BexarMet with 25% of ratepayer connections - which includes:

• Stone Oak plus The Vineyard and Greystone
• Timberwood Park
• City of Hollywood Park
• City of Hill Country Village
• City of Castle Hills plus Oak Glen Park, Castle Park and Northcrest Hills
• Anaqua Springs, Canyon Park, Geronimo Forest, Country Oaks, Chaparral, Elm Valley and North San Antonio Hills
• Bulverde Hills, Oakland Estates and Woods of Spring Branch

Lesley is a member of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce's Public Affairs Water Committee and of its Legislative Sub-committee.
