Safety Coordinator
Job description: Outlines and implements training programs regarding employee safety procedures and accident prevention. Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, accident investigations, recommendations and corrections or modifications needed to ensure compliance and conducts weekly safety meetings.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma and a minimum of two years closely related experience. Must have thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations covering all aspects of safety and health. Able to read and interpret manuals and government regulations. Good computer skills. Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing. Preference will given to applicants who have completed college course work in safety or possess safety certifications
Valid TX driver's license and good driving record.
