November 1, 2005 Marks Dramatic Change in BexarMet's Meter Reading Process

BexarMet's New Meter Reading Cycle

As of November 1, 2005, BexarMet's meter reading cycle has been re-vamped to make our meter reading process more efficient, reduce fuel bills and help our meter readers operate more efficiently.

Some customers will notice that their read day will fall earlier than normal, others will notice a marked delay in their read date and others will see very little, if any, change at all for the month of November.  The amount of your next water bill may be lower or higher, depending on the number of days since the last reading, but this is a temporary situation and there are no changes in BexarMet's water rates.  Meters will be read on a monthly basis after November based on the new read day.  BexarMet is not sending two bills in November...just adjusting the read day.

All BexarMet customers should have received a flyer in the mail within the first 10 days of November outlining the meter reading day changes.
