BexarMet Water Rates and Fees

BexarMet water rates are charged per 1,000 gallons and tiered to encourage conservation at higher levels of use. Our water rates are constant throughout the year and do not change based on expected peak irrigation demand over the summer period. In addition to commercial and residential rates for water, the BexarMet bill includes Capacity Reservation fees and System Improvement fees as well as collecting wastewater (sewer) fees, garbage fees, and regulatory assessments for other agencies.

NOTE:
On April 24, 2008, the BexarMet Board approved a 14% hike in residential and commercial water rates. The new  rates are effective as of July 1, 2008 for all customer classes.
